21 Days To A Clean Organized Home: Day 16 - Under the Bathroom Sink

I have to confess...I did not want to clean this area. Nope. Not one bit.


Did it need it? Yes. Was there tons of stuff to throw away under there? Yes. Would I like it better after it was clean and organized? Yes. Do I want to do it now? NO!


I don't really know why I had so much hesitation. Maybe I thought it would take longer than it did. I don't know for sure, but I finally sucked it up and went forth in the name of organization. :)


My bathroom sink is small, therefore the cabinet underneath is also small. What I would give for a few drawers! (Next house, big master bathroom! Big!) Anyway...I started with this...

I pulled everything out and was left with this...

I wiped down the area and then I started sorting my things. Old tan lotion...gone. Old hairspray I never liked...gone. Finger nail polish that is dried up...gone. The items left are items I actually use...

On the left I placed my make bags and nail polish. And on the right...

Is a big basket that contains hair products and lotions. I also decided to hang my blow dryer and flat iron on the inside of the cabinet.

It actually didn't take me very long to organize this space and yes, I am glad I did it. It may not look super flashy, but it is clean. It is organized and it is more efficient. So far all those reasons...I can say... job well done. 

Remember, you don't have to run out and buy a ton of stuff to organize your home. Use what you have and use a system that works for you!
