What’s Happenin’ Now

happening nowHello friends! Can you believe there are only two days left until Christmas? Wow. This wonderful holiday is approaching fast and I think I’m almost ready. I’m headed to the grocery store today to gather all my ingredients for Christmas dinner. I’m sure that place won’t be busy! {insert major sarcasm here}

I believe this will be my last post until next Sunday. I want to take a break from blogging and spend some time lovin’ on the family. But before I go, I wanted to update with you what’s happenin’ in my life right now. Some details I’m going to share will be BIG NEWS and some will just be fun. So let’s get to chattin’!

planning for: a little baby in a month. Car seat bought, that’s a good start right? 😉

listening to: Mary, Did You Know? by Pentatonix. Moves the soul.

needing: a cute Christmas manicure. Pretty.

excited for: our new house. {BIG NEWS} As you may remember we sold our house last month.  But were unable to find a home we liked to buy. So…..we took a giant leap of faith and moved in with the in-laws. It’s been a big transition but we’re grateful for a warm place to live while being in this transition period. So if you’ve been wondering why I have no Christmas decor on the blog this year…this is why. 🙂

addicted to: Starbucks Peppermint Mocha’s. You’ll never guess how many I’ve had in the past two weeks. Nope- you’re not even close.

wanting to: open my Christmas present from my hubby. Know why? Cause I bought it! lol I think he picked out the perfect boots, don’t you? 😉

craving: eggnog. What can I say, ’tis the season.

working on: organizing/writing blog posts for January. I have a feeling I may be a little occupied once the baby comes.

missing: my Christmas decorations. Next year, my house will make the Griswold’s look like child’s play! 😉

loving: sleeping in. It’s only been two days but I’m already hooked.

watching: lots of Cutthroat Kitchen. I blame it on Netflix.

wishing: for you to have a wonderful Christmas!

I’m so blessed to have such wonderful readers and wish you a beautiful holiday filled with lots of laughter, good food and lots of fun! I will be back on Sunday, the 28th with a new post for you.

Merry Christmas!
